precautionary_measures

1. Precautionary Measures- Tubal Sterilization : * Complete D&C before removing ports before operation * Avoid loading fallop rings too early before operation * Identify-round ligament,ovarian ligament,ovarian vein,Tube & fimbria before operation * Keep longer prong of applicator above shorter prong-or the tube may slip before operation * Lift only the tube 2cm from cornea of uterus using shorter prong before operation * Take in the tube loop into applicator very slowly before operation * Two rings to be applied on each side-to squeeze out any fluid before operation * Make sure a clear loop of tube is visible above the applied rings before operation * Withdraw the prongs into applicator under vision before operation * If tube gets cut-apply two rings on either end,by holding one end at a time and taking it into applicator
